After the theoretical and practical tests with the C 172 and C 182 in Winderboom / Pretoria, and the "Bush Pilot" course in the C 172 at Barberton, east of Wonderboom, we started the adventure part by heading over the Kruger Park east towards Mozambique, north to Malawi, south west to Zimbabwe and south east to Botswana, to finally return 2 weeks later to our starting point in Wonderboom / Pretoria, in South Africa.
The concept of this tour has been roughly to do a one day of flying followed by one day of activities, such as boating, jeep safari, tours, etc.
We stayed 2 nights at each of the pre arranged lodges.
